| Some people say that we don't need libraries any more. Electronic books are becoming more and more popular nowadays.
All the knowledge you need is online.
What about you ? Are you also convinced that libraries are going to disappear?

| In today's world more and more people use the Internet. Some of them think that books are obsolete and every information you need is on the Net. I strongly believe that books are more useful than the World Wide Web and they cannot be replaced.
I am absolutely against the idea that reading is a useless pastime activity. Indeed, books help us to be successful at different areas. Firstly, we get new knowledge and improve our grammar skills while reading. It goes without saying
that we become more intelligent and cultural. So, talking to intelligent people is more pleasant than to communicate with ignorant ones. Besides, we should remember that reading is a great way to learn the world, relationships between people, their characters and many other things.
On the other hand, a plenty of people believe that reading is not necessary. They argue that the Internet is more comprehensive source of the knowledge and everybody can find all useful information. Moreover, they say that all the books you need are online.There are existing eBooks and Audio books, which can replace traditional ones. For instance, you mustn't go to a library and check it out, you can just download it at home. As a result, it's quicker and more comfortable. So, to my regret, they believe that in the future books and libraries will not exist. But I don't agree with them. I suppose that books are necessary and they cannot be surrogated by electronic ones.
In conclusion, I want to say that book are important for us because themore we read the more things we know.
