| What do you like doing in your leisure time?
Is it important to have a hobby? Why?

| What is a hobby? It is what you can and like to do, when you have a free time.
If you have a hobby your life becomes more interesting. Very often your hobby helps us to choose our future profession, because we learn a lot of new things.
There are lot’s of different hobbies in my family. But all of us are fond of good music and new films and we collect discs with our favorite ones. And recently we have bought audio system, so now we can listen to the music every evening. For me I prefer rock and pop music.
But I also have my own hobbies: I like sports and drawing. My favorite kind of sport is dancing. If I have free time I always visit dancing section. We learn there beautiful dances. I like to make very special dresses for our concerts. More over, I am fond of drawing. I often draw little pictures of animals and people at home on the little papers. There are lot’s of this papers in our house. But lust year I joined to the art school. At school I like drawing nice landscapes and naturemords. In summer we will come to the Kremlin and draw our pictures from nature. I have one more little hobby. It is making bracelets. I and some of my friends make very bright and funny bracelets ourselves. It is very merry and interesting for us. And of course I like watching TV. But I don’t watch it for a long time. I think about my health, keep fit. I don t want to become lazy and fat.

| There is no accounting for tastes. I agree with it. With a hobby our life becomes more interesting.
As for me I have many hobbies.
Best of all I like animals: dogs, parrots and horses. The affection of me for animals is well-known. At home I keep a parrot called Senya. He is yellow with green spots. He can fly around my room and chat. Every day I clean his cage and give him fresh water and new seeds.
Once a month I visit my favourite horse – Pastva. She is very beautiful and big. Pastva has a foal. I am fond of riding the horse. With her I can relax and rest.
In the evening I enjoy reading. We have a big collection of books at home. But sometimes I visit a library. I like to read detective stories because they are very interesting and teach me a lot.
In summer, when I have a lot of free time, I prefer embroidering. My embroidery with a birch on the wall gives my room the atmosphere of a real Russian house. I am waiting for my summer holidays because I am eager to embroider my horse.
As many other children I go to a musical school. I can play the piano and sing well. I am fond of listening and playing jazz and pop music. That’s why I like to watch musical concerts.
My family often travels abroad. I have already visited Turkey, Egypt and Thailand. A lot of people in these countries speak English. That’s why I study English hard. I read English books, watch English films and sing English songs. This hobby helps me to communicate with people in foreign countries.
I think that every person should have a hobby. Hobby helps us to learn a lot of new things and to have a lot of friends.

| Everybody has hobbies. Hobby makes our life more interesting and fun. We dedicate to our hobby a lot of spare time.
As for me, I have many different hobbies. First of all, it is reading. I enjoy reading very much, but I prefer only fantastic and detective stories. My favorite books about Sherlock Holmes. I think he is the legendary detective. I think it is so interesting! I would like to be the same. When I read a great story I retell it to my friends.
So I keen on sports. Every week I go to the sports ground or to the fitness club.
Most of all I enjoy playing table tennis, swimming, badminton and aerobics. Several times I have taken part in sports competitions and I won, I really enjoy it!
Sport helps me to keep feet. It develops stamina.
I also really like macramé. I often do it in the country or in the open air. It helps me to relax. I do a lot of macrame for my friends and relatives and they like it.
Some people do not have any hobbies. I think it is so bad. If a man does not do anything he starts boring. I am sure that everyone need to find a hobby that would have interested him.
I enjoy doing my favorite things, I try to spend more time to do them!

| All people have got a lot of hobbies like travelling, gardening or knitting.
As for me, I have got hobbies too. I`m fond of reading, doing sports, making braslets, playing the guitar and pets, of course.
I like reading very much, and I always do it in my spare time. I think books are the best friends for people, becouse they teach us mahy useful things and in books we can find answers to all questions.
But I`m keen on not only reading, so I enjoy playing the guitar very much. I have gone at music school for 4 years, and I like it. Music teachers teach me to play a lot of beautiful compositions, which then I play to my parents and friends.
By the way, every day I do sports, I jog, do morning exersises and dance, I`m really fond of sports, becouse it makes me rest and be healthy. All know: A healthy mind in a healthy body!
So I like making braslets from muline myself. It`s very interesting hobby, and now I have a lot of pretty braslets, some of them I present to my friends to their Birthdays.
Also I have the affection of me for animals. I have a cat Dulsineia, she is very nice, and I love her very much and we get along with each others very well. In my spare time I enjoy playing with her very much.
My hobbies are the best for me, becouse they make me cheer up.
