| Making decisions at 15-16 is a hard thing to do, but the earlier you start thinking about your future career the better. It is necessary to look ahead to make the right choice. Have you made your decision yet? Why are the professions of a teacher, a soldier, an engineer or a worker the least popular among Russian teenagers? Are you of the same opinion? What are the key skills that are required for any job? What qualities do you want to develop?

| As for me, I am keen on computer engineering. Computer engineering is a broad and diverse field that provides excellent, long-term, and potentially lucrative, career opportunities.A typical computer engineer does different things depending upon the size of the industry that provides employment. Computer engineers design, implement and troubleshoot simple or complex computer systems.Successful computer engineering careers require a decent amount of engineering-relevant education. As far as I know most computer engineers complete a four-year college degree, and some even complete graduate degrees in computer engineering or mathematics. There's a global demand for computer engineers. This is because they solve problems based upon applied mathematics, which is a global language itself. Many engineering teams are a diverse group of members from across the globe, and I prefer this way of living.A computer engineering career carries a lot of prestige, especially among other science and analytical careers. More than that salaries in computer engineering are above national average compared to other professions. I want to develop my creativity and team-working skills, I think these qualities are the main in my profession. To my mind a profession of a teacher, a soldier, an engineer are the least popular among Russian teenagers because they are low-paid and aren't so respective, as teens want. These works aren't so interesting, they are too trite to study and work all life on them.

| After eleven years of compulsory education we'll have own freedom to choose where to study next and what profession to deal with. As for me, I`m interested in a job of an engineer.According to the survey it`s not a very popular job in our country. But I'm sure it will be climbed up in our country soon. Besides the job of an engineer will allow me to feel personal achievement and be financially independent. More than that some people choose a job of an engineer because they get respect of people and earn a good salary. This career requires basic IT and team-working skills. It is also necessary to have good knowledge in Physics and Maths. One of my key skills is an ability to learn and I must always brush up my knowledge. To my mind I have all qualities wich are valued to this job - I`m creative, self- motivated and a self confident person. It seems to me the professions of a teacher, a soldier, an engineer are the least popular among Russian teenagers because they are not so respective as they are wanted to be.

| When you leave school, you understand that the time to choose your future profession has come. According to the public-opinion-poll, the professions of a teacher, a soldier , an engineer or a worker -are the least popular among Russian teenagers. And that’s not a surprise, because sometimes these jobs have bad working conditions and unfriendly atmosphere. Besides, the salary is low. Frankly speaking, I’m not in favour of these professions because you can’t earn as much money as you need to support your family. As for me I have already decided what to do. It was really difficult to make up my mind and choose one of the hundreds jobs to which I might be better suited. I can boast that I was born in a family of businessmen. Of course, my parents influenced my opinion of a future career. So, I d like to become a businessman. Creating and improving your own business is a very serious and hard job. I have chosen it because if I’m satisfied with this job, I’ll feel personal achievement and financial independence which are so necessary nowadays. Businessmen are very responsible and well informed. To my mind that’s the reason why they are deeply respected. This job requires communication and basic IT skills and skills in planning and organization. It is valued when workers are prudent, self-motivated and well-organized. Indeed, the only quality that can disturb my future plans is inattention. So, I'd like to avoid it. Our Russian proverb“Each male should rear a son, plant a tree and build a house” has become a motto of my life. I wish my dreams came true . I'll try to succeed in my career and make a difference for my country.

| CaptainClearness, good luck to you! Since my childhood I have been watching law TV programmes together with my granny. And I'm used to discussing them with her. Of course, this has influenced my choice of a future career. Nowadays, I'm sure, that I'll be a lawyer, because I consider this job to be very interesting and useful. No doubt, I'll be satisfied with it .It'll allow me to be financialy independent and feel personal achievement. Besides, the job is connected with communication skills and is suitable for me! It requires reliable, flexible, intellectual lawyers, who have skills in planning and organization. I hope to become a pro!!! May be,I'll change my mind, but right now I get ready to enter the Faculty of Law.

| I am personally very interested in a career of a lawyer,too/. Of course, there are too many lawyers in our country According to surveys 21% of people in Russia are lawyers. But only real professionals can get on and make a difference. Employers value specialists that combine high qualifications with the necessary skills and quallities. That's why I'm getting lots of valuable practical experience taking part in different competitions on law. I'm sure it allows me to develop both my key skills and my personal qualities. The most required skills are communication skills, skills in problem solving. It is challenging but I've chosen it to feel personal respect and give a helping hand to all clients who get into trouble. Since my childhood I have looked forward to helping people. I'm sure if I become a good lawyer, I 'll be helpful to people.

| I believe that people will unite to one country one day because we have a lot in common;pollution, dangerous technologies , new serious diseases... Our economics will be developing. People will leave in peace with each other and won't die from hard diseases such as cancer and AIDS. There will be progress in medicine and electronic technology . We can change much in this world if we unite.

| As for me, I haven`t made a decision about my future career yet. Now I have a few choices about my future profession. One of my versions is the profession of lawyer too. I agree with Nastya, that there are a lot of lawyers in our country, but only a few lawyers are real professionals. And if I am a lawyer, I will try to be a good and qualified expert in this area. I chose this profession, because in my opinion the justice must prevail in the world and in future I am going to help people to defend their rights. Besides, the second variant of my future profession is simultaneous translator, because now I`m keen on learning foreign language – English. And I consider this job to be very interesting and useful. If I`m a pro, I will translate the dialogues of politicians. May be, I`ll change my mind, but now I want to be a lawyer or a simultaneous translator.
