Do you think that society is becoming more violent? How can we build peace on the planet?
Сomment on B.Franklin's words:"There never was a good war and a bad peace."

Nowadays society is becoming more and more violent. For example in the Vietnam War 90% soldiers were willing to kill; at the late nineties more than 40% of young people were willing to have a gun. Then the violence begins with our school, because sometimes pupils quarrel and beat each other, and with Mass Media, because teenagers watch too many actions and thriller.
"There never was a good war...”,-said B. Franklin. I absolutely agree with him, because
Many countries suffered greatly at the World War II and since that time, there has not been a time on our planet without war. We often can watch TV or read how many people die because of terrorism and war conflictsin in the newspapers .
“There never was a bad peace.” It means that peace is always better than a war. Everyone wants to live in equality, justice and liberty. We are willing to live in peace but how can we do it?
Of course, we have to be tolerant to each other. We should learn to respect other people’s ideas and values, even when they are different from others. But it seems to me that the most important thing we should do is observing human rights. Every person has the right to liberty, justice and equality but all discrimination(ethnic, religious or racial) should be punished. That’s how we can prevent conflicts and live in peace.
