| Every person needs a friend. Friends are very important in our life. It is not worth living without them.
Good friends are people who support each other and never betray . A close friend is a person whom I can trust everything no matter what happens. A true friend is always ready to help me and solve problems together with me if I do something wrong.
My friend is 15 years old. We have known each other for 5 years already.
He has dark hair and brown eyes. He is tall. He is very trustworthy and reliable. If I ask him for something I am sure he will do it. He is helpful. I like his character. He is very serious and independent. My best friend is a good and honest person. He has a nice sense of humor .
They say that "Misfortune shows those who are not really friends". Real friends are very rare and we should cherish them. And if you happen to find them take care of them, never hurt them and try not to lose them.
Our friendship is wonderful. I am sure we shall be friends forever.

| Family means a lot to me. Blood is thicker than water. But life isn`t worth living without friends. I have a family that loves me and friends I enjoy spending time with. Real friends are very rare and you cherish them. A good friend is a someone who supports you in all situations, no matter if you are right or wrong, keeps his promise and keeps my secrets. A good friend is a someone who never tells you lies, can quarrel or even fight with you if you`ve done something wrong. Friends should forgive you for being rude or unfair towards somebody. A friend shouldn`t betray you in difficult situations, envy your success and feel jealous if sometimes you are more successful.
Some people say that friendship between a boy and a girl is impossible. But I know the example when a boy and a girl are best friends. They are friends because they are alike. They are classmates ,have the same hobby and support each other when they are a bit stressed out. They give tips each other when it is necessary.
The girl helps him to choose what to wear and sometimes she does his hair for him. If she feels shy to talk to a lad, he just tells her to chill and be herself.
He knows he will be mates with the girl for ages.
I would feel absolutely lonely if I did not have friends. Life is cool with them. And if you happen to find them, take care of them, never hurt them and try not to lose them.Sometimes we quarrel, but I don`t believe that my friends mean to hurt me. Life is cool with them. I think that misfortune shows those who are not real friends.
My best friend is Masha. She is very clever, sociable and responsible. I met Masha when I was a child. We played different games together, studied in the same class and even sat together. Masha gets only excellent marks. And I am proud of her. Sometimes she helps me with my homework. Masha always understands me and she has never betrayed me. I hope that we will be friends for ages.
My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.

Some people have lots of friends and others have a few. But everyone has a person who deserves to be called «the best friend».
A good friend is someone, who sees life through your eyes, supports you in different situations, keeps his promise, never tells lies and cheer you up.
Emerson said: «A friend is someone before whom I may think aloud.>> I agree with him, because a real friend can keep your secrets, and as for me I have met such friend.
Her name is Sveta. She is 15 years old. She is gorgeus. Sveta has blue eyes and light hair. She is independent, sporty and clever. She is good at studying. Sveta always gets a five or a four at school.
I appreciate her advice and support her. But sometimes we quarrel about silly things. It seems very strange and funny.
But sometimes I 'd like to make friendship with a boy. I think it’s possible.
In my opinion it’s very interesting to discuss problems in a family or in school with boys. Sometimes they can give you better advice than a girl. When I communicate with some boys, I think that we are very much alike. I’m not a bit of tomboy but I can understand them and can give of what to talk to girls. I believe that I’ll meet such a boy in future and if it happens, I will be very glad.
So, real friends are very rare and you should cherish them, take care of them, never hurt them and not to lose them.

Salamandra, in my opinion blood is thicker than water. I appreciate my family more than friends because family can not betray me. But,of course, life will be boring without friends, too.

| I absolutely agree that real friends are very rare and we should cerish them.
I enjoy gathering at different places and talk about life , listen to music and have fun. I belive that a good friehd is a someone who supports you in all situations , is good at listening , keeps his or her promise and your secrets. A real friend always tells you the truth. Sometimes he can quarrel with you about silly unimportant things , but a friend cares about your feelings and avoids conflicts with you and you will make peace. When you have problems with your parents a friend should help and give you advice. A real friend never betrays or envies your succes. I am sure that I would feel absolutly lonely if I didn’t have friehds. Life is cool with them! And if you happen to find real friends , take care of them , never hurt them and try not to lose them. And how said Ralph Waldo Emerson: "A friend is one before whom I may think aloud. "
As for me I love my friends. They mean a lot to me. I can rely on them. I know they support me and give a usefull advice. I appreciate my parents and my friends. Parents and frends’advices are important to me both. I know they wish me luck.l.

| Who is more important for me: family or friends? It is a very difficult question, but if I had been given such question I would say that I choose a family, because the family is the integral element, and it is very difficult to become successful without it. Relatives will always help and prompt if it is necessary. The family is the most important thing that the man has. It is the place where you can find support and love. The most important feelings, such as understanding and fidelity are given to us only in our family.
As for my friends, it is burning question, who is a real friend? In my opinion every person needs a friend. I have many friends and I appreciate them. When we gather together we like to chat, to make lots of noise, to watch new movies and discuss them. To my mind, people should have many friends as possible, because if you have not friends, you just become very dull and boring person. It is fine when you have friends, who are able to understand you and support and help in difficult situations. One of my friends is Masha. In appearance she is very attractive. She has an oval face, a straight nose, blue eyes, fair hair and a broad smile. She is thirteen. Masha is known for her warm and friendly character. We have much in common and we enjoy communicating with each other. I’d like to point out, that Masha is rather brainy, and that’s why she is excellent at school. Her favorite subject at school is Maths. She is keen on Maths. I guess she might become a great mathematician. I’d like to add, that my friend is an interesting person. She is well-read. Her favourite foreign author is Julian Rowling and her creation Harry Potter. Besides, she is keen on modern music and enthusiastic with sport.
We are friends for a long time. We trust each other. We have some personal secrets. I can tell her about my troubles and she always helps me, if she can. But sometimes, we quarrel about silly important things. Our friendship helps me feel strong and sure of myself. I always find my friends' arguments about me quite convincing. I think, a good friends should defend you if someone hurts you, support you if you are right, follow your advice in any case, avoid conflicts with you, care about your feelings and cheer you up always. People say: "Old friends and old wine are the best". As for me, I support the idea of this proverb. Because you know all of your old friends and they can help you in every situation, but as for new friend, you know little about him and he can betray you.
To sum up, "A good friend is like the sun in winter", it’s about Masha. I’m the happiest girl in the world, because I have such a wonderful friend.

There is a Russian equivalent to this proverb:"друг познается в беде".I think that it reflects the main idea of friendship.
When you are stresed or tired, when you have problems with somebody, real friends will always support and help you.
Aristotle said"Without friends no one would choose to live,though he had all other goods".
As for me I have 2 close friends. They are Alexey and Nikolay.
Alexey is bright,tolerant,ambitions and interesting.
Kolya is clever, funny, sociable and finds a common language easily.
We became friends when I met them.
We spend a lot of time together.We can talk for hours, have fun.When I was ill they phoned me every day and supported me.
Sometimes I help them with home work and they help me too.I am sure that I've found the best friends for me.

| “Without friends no one would choose to live, though he had all other goods.”(Aristotle) I absolutely agree with this quotation and it is my motto. As for me my friends they are very important in my life. But who can be a really good and close friend?
The best friend is the person who has much in common with you, doesn’t betray you in difficult situations, keeps your secrets, defends you if someone hurts you and tries to cheer you up when you’re upset. He should care about your feelings, appreciate your advice and never tell you lies. He should understand that sometimes you have different ideas and values and you have the right to disagree with him. And if some conflicts happen he will try to resolve them peacefully. As you can see a close friend should be tolerant.
Nowadays I have two close friends. I’m so thankful that they are always with me, give me advices when I need their support and try to explain me some things when I’m not right. I appreciate friendship because sometimes my friends are the only people who are not indifferent to me. That’s why I think that life isn’t worth living without friends. So I wish everyone had the best friends.
